Half marathon at this place is new. Last year there was a 10K as well as a marathon relay. So this race program was new to me even though I run in this area a great deal I hadn’t run this program before.

Anyway… the half Marathon program was a mix of running with communities as well as on one of the bike / pedestrian trails. It’s not an actual dirt path – it’s a road race, however this path is called a trail.

Now for the wardrobe malfunction:
I don’t understand when it occurred however in the last few miles of the race I felt something odd in my left shoe. It wasn’t unpleasant so I just kept going as well as didn’t believe about it. Then, it was ending up being to feel more as well as more weird- like I had something in my shoe? I realized it was the insole lining that bunched up beneath my arch. It was just was type of frustrating at very first however slowly got worse as it bunched up more.

I wasn’t in pain however having the insole jammed under my arch altered my running gait a bit. Jeg tror det var kombinasjonen av at de var nyere sko, værtilstanden var så fuktig = i tillegg til at jeg svetter så mye inn i sokken min, gamle sokker så vel som at verden ville at jeg skulle ha en morsom historie å fortelle?
Moral av historien: Jeg forstår ikke hvorfor det skjedde. I tillegg til at jeg ikke laget et hull i skoen eller sokken min.
Det var bare en ekstremt tilfeldig funksjonsfeil så godt som jeg lurer på om det måtte lage med sokkene jeg var bekymret eller sannheten at den var så fuktig så vel som svetten som dryppet ned, gjorde sokkene mine våte?
Stort sett tror jeg bare at det er morsomt så vel som tilfeldig forutsatt at jeg løper over 50 halvmaratoner, så vel som dette ikke har skjedd før.

Min halvmaraton tid: 1:47:36 – AVG Speed 8:14
Jeg har det bra med dette, men ønsker å bli raskere, så vel som kravet om å få halvtiden ned for å til slutt få min fulle maraton tid ned.
Etter løpet fikk jeg oppgi hei til noen av mine regionale løpervenner! En god del mennesker fortalte meg hei under løpet også !!
Jeg så Sandy, Pam, Diana, min vennevenn, en av de eneste løperne så vel som så mange flere!
Da så mamma så godt som jeg så på matbilene. Jeg endte opp med å velge frokostbar siden jeg ønsket en smultring! Så bra!!
